Sometimes a contract has an ad page tacked on, or a scan accidentally included a blank page — just a page or two to remove. Deleting is faster than splitting here.
Delete vs split — which one?
If you want to drop a few pages and keep everything else, delete. If you want to pull out just one specific range, split is more direct. As a rule of thumb: delete when keeping most pages, split when keeping few.
Renumbering after deleting
If a document already has printed page numbers, deleting a middle page throws the numbering off. Run page numbers afterward to fix it.
If you deleted the wrong page
The original file is untouched until you save, so if you made a mistake, just re-upload the original and start over instead of saving.
