Scanning or photographing documents often leaves a few pages rotated the wrong way. Being able to rotate individual pages, not just the whole file, is what actually fixes it.
Rotating pages individually
Rotating the entire document 90 degrees throws off the pages that were already correct. Instead, select just the crooked pages and rotate each by whatever angle it needs โ 90, 180, or 270 degrees.
Cleaning up margins after rotating
A rotated page can end up with an odd aspect ratio and leftover blank margins. Rotate first, then use crop to trim the extra space.
Double-check before saving
When rotating several pages at once, each may need a different angle, so flip through the whole document once before saving to confirm everything looks right.
